With these battery-powered cameras, you can finally install a security camera wherever you want: no wires and no power outlet needed. These cameras connect wirelessly to your home Wi-Fi and run on a built-in rechargeable battery. They are equipped with a PIR sensor that detects the presence of people or animals in the area. While idle, the camera remains in standby mode, using very little battery. When an intrusion occurs, or when you connect via the app, the camera "wakes up" and starts recording and transmitting video. Thanks to this clever design, our battery-powered cameras can operate for many weeks without needing a recharge.
Thanks to built-in rechargeable batteries these cameras can remain in stand-by for up to 6 months. The best use of these cameras is in the surveillance of areas with limited presence of people. If 10 intrusions per day take place, the battery life is still very long: about 2 months. The battery life drops to about 24 hours if the monitored area is subject to continuous passage of people and for this reason we recommend you to combine the optional solar panel if you use these cameras in very busy areas.
If the cameras are installed outdoors, you can pair them with a solar panel to significantly extend the battery life. Motorized cameras, often installed outside, already include a solar panel with a USB Type-C connector in the package. For fixed models, a solar panel with a MicroUSB connector is available separately as an optional accessory. The panel connects to the camera using the included cable, which allows it to be positioned up to 2 meters away from the camera, so you can orient it optimally toward the south and avoid shaded areas. This way, the battery recharges using solar energy, and you can install a permanent camera anywhere your Wi-Fi reaches, even on a tree in your garden.
When the camera's batteries are exhausted can be recharged by connecting the camera to a USB power adapter for about 6 hours. It is easy to know when you must recharge the batteries because the app displays the current charge status and the camera warns you with a low battery push notification to your mobile phone. These lithium batteries support over 500 re-charging cycles so they last for many years. If requierd, you can replace the batteries by purchasing 2 spare ones.

DUAL LEDs, on the other hand, can emit both infrared (IR) and visible white light, enabling color recording at night.
