These magnetic contacts are ideal for notifying when a door is opened or closed. They are made up of a main sensor, to be mounted on the door frame, and a magnetic contact that is mounted on the door. When the two components move apart or come back together, a notification is sent to the app, and other Tuya devices can also be activated automatically. This magnetic contact is completely wireless and comes with a pre-shaped double-sided adhesive for quick installation in just a few minutes, without drilling.
Our Tuya magnetic contacts allow you to keep your home under control. You can receive a timely notification on your phone if a door or gate is opened. You can also check in real time whether a door is open or closed, or monitor the status of technical devices. With the Tuya app, you can also create automatic actions by triggering other Tuya devices based on the status of the magnetic sensor.

These Tuya micro-contacts are powered by two standard AAA batteries (not included). They connect to your WiFi, so no cables are needed, and can be easily attached to a door or window using the included double-sided adhesive. You can install the two components in various ways, depending on the shape of the frame, as long as they are less than 1 cm apart when the door is closed. The batteries last several months, and the app will notify you when they need to be replaced. Keep in mind that the sensor must connect to your WiFi network, so make sure you have a good signal in the installation area by checking with your phone.
Connecting these detectors to your wifi network is very simple. Download the free app Smart Life on your smartphone and follow the connection wizard that connect the module to your wifi network automatically. Now your remote control is ready to work via the Internet. Thanks to the P2P cloud server, you don't have to configure anything in your router. It works with any kind of Internet connection, even 4G, radio or satellite.
You can control these sensors over the Internet using the free Smart Life app, the Tuya platform app that supports all our smart home devices. Without any configuration, you can receive an INSTANT NOTIFICATION when the contact changes state. You can also CHECK the status of the contact at any time to know, for example, whether the garage door is open or closed. With the Tuya app, you can also AUTOMATICALLY ACTIVATE other Tuya devices based on the contact’s status, even using a TIMER SCHEDULE.
Do you want to activate an audible alarm when a door is opened? Nothing could be easier. Just install the magnetic contact on the door and power a siren using one of our Tuya WiFi relays. Then, in the Smart Life app, set the relay/siren to activate when the door contact opens — optionally only during specific time ranges. You can do the same with lighting, pumps, and more.
