The cameras in this range are network digital cameras, also called IP cameras. With these cameras you can create a fully digital video surveillance system over a LAN. Each camera has a network port and is identified by an IP address, just like computers or other network devices. You can monitor your cameras with your PC or you can purchase a network video recorder (NVR) to efficiently manage many cameras. These cameras are motorized and you can control rotation and zoom via PC, NVR or APP.
Compared to the traditional analog technology (nowadays AHD), IP technology offers many advantages and is therefore increasingly used in CCTV systems of any size. The main advantage of IP cameras lies in the network cabling, that can be branched off with switches, allowing you to connect many cameras with just one cable. In addition, PTZ IP cameras do not require control cables because all the controls are included in the onvif protocol. Unlike analog cameras, IP cameras provide a digital video stream that is ready to be stored on hard disks. For this reason NVR video recorders are efficient and inexpensive even when they have to manage over 2MP high resolution cameras. See below an example of a small IP CCTV system.
The RH Series IP cameras are our professional IP range for the high-end market. Compared to our IP cameras for residential and commercial markets, these RH Series come with comprehensive hardware setup and advanced video analysis functions. They are ideal in industrial systems and in complex projects where interaction with external systems and dedicated softwares might be needed. The motorized IP cameras of this RH series provide superb video quality. 3MP (2048x1536) video resolution grants an excellent view of distant subjects and sharp details in close-ups. The frame rate is 25 fps, real time. An automatic image stabilization system helps to get excellent image even during pan-tilt movements. All these cameras support Region Of Interest (ROI) function. You can define with your mouse the most important areas in the frame where you want most resources of the camera to be focused.
You can buy your IP products from us with confidence. All products in this range are supporting Onvif and RTSP protocols. You can match our products with any other device sharing these standards.
The cameras in this range support H264 and H265 video compression, including the latest upgrades, in order to combine high quality video stream and low bandwidth consumption. These cameras can manage 3 VIDEO STREAMING with different compression and resolution, that you can choose from the client device. The frame rate is also adjustable up to 25 frames / second (real-time). Choose the well-established H264 format for maximum compatibility with all NVRs, or use the latest H265 to increase the video storage capacity and minimize the bandwidth. Here on the side you can download two similar clips in H264 and H265 format: please note the different file size.
All cameras in this PTZ range require 24VAC power supply. A 24VAC power adapter is included. Please note that these motorized cameras DO NOT support POE power supply because of the IR LEDs and pan-tilt head high power consumption. The connection cable of our RH cameras comes with many terminals, as you can see here on the side.

These PTZ cameras come with 7 built-in maxi infrared LEDs that provide invisible night lighting up to 120 meters. Thanks to the Smart IR technology, the LED power is automatically adapts to the target distance avoiding overexposure. The cameras in this range are equipped with high-performance LEDs that provide a strong illumination while maintaining a relatively low power consumption. The LEDs turn on automatically below 10 lux. In night mode the camera records in Black White thanks to a mechanical removal mechanism of the IR filter (ICR). If you want, you can set the camera to work only in color mode, excluding the infrared night function.
All our RH IP cameras fully support HTTPS encrypted communication protocol that is highly recommended for high-risk CCTV systems. you may need to use https protocol, instead of ordinary http, in many application fields like banking or public security.
These IP speed dome cameras come with a full pack of advanced features. A user friendly On Screen Display, allows you to set the options so as to adapt the camera to your needs. You can adjust the image and rotate it, with the MIRROR functions, in order to suit the area to be monitored. The WIDE DYNAMIC RANGE (WDR) function is useful if you shoot bright areas together with darker areas. With the BLC you can enhance dark subject on a bright background. The ANTIFOG, HLC and DIGITAL NOISE REDUCTION functions allow you to face difficult monitoring conditions with poor visibility.
In the videosurveillance of public areas and working places setting efficient PRIVACY masks to protect people privacy is a crucial issue. These RH Series motorized cameras are among the very few PTZ cameras on the market supporting smart privacy areas, that move automatically according to the position of the camera. Once you set your privacy masks around the sensitive areas, they are automatically re-positioned and re-sized according to the camera PTZ controls.
Some models in this range come with autotracking. Thanks to this function these PTZ cameras are able to rotate and zoom automatically following a target within the area. It is a very useful feature that allows you to capture close and significant images in case of intrusion. The auto-tracking function of these speed dome cameras is very advanced and allows you to set the target size as well as the maximum duration of the autotracking.
This range of cameras includes some STARLIGHT models, based on the SONY STARVIS™ back-illuminated CMOS sensor. Starlight cameras are designed to produce clear full color video at night, taking advantage of every minimal natural light source. Starlight PTZ cameras are highly recommended when monitoring large outdoor areas, too vast for IR illuminators.
These RH series cameras include advanced digital video analysis features that allows you to detect unusual situations that occur within the camera's field of view. This Intelligent Video Analysis function, is a high-tech feature, designed for advanced security systems, that you can not find in our "Naked" IP cameras, for the residential market. Intelligent Video Analysis is essential when protecting high risk areas, however it can be also very useful for ordinary CCTV systems, to detect suspicious actions. Several kinds of detection are available to suit the security need of shops, companies and public places. Each of these video analysis functions can be individually configured and enabled-disabled according to the time and date. When a suspicious event is detected, the cameras start recording, activate alarm output for local warning, and send out email or FTP upload. It is also possible to send out alarm signals to the HRC monitoring software included or to any alarm management platforms supporting the ONVIF Videoanalytics Service Spec.V220 standard.
Upon request we provide developers with all the information needed to implement the Intelligent Video Analysis functions in their own software.

These IP speed dome cameras come with a powerful motorized zoom lens which provide 30x zoom from 4.3 to 129 mm. focal length An additional 16x digital zoom is also available, as further magnification. Zoom lenses also support autofocus and adjustable motor speed. Be very careful when you compare our speed dome cameras with others on the market because unqualified manufacturers are very often displaying false zoom overlay values, higher then the real ones. Please beware of too cheap 30x zoom cameras, with no brand.
All RH cameras are waterproof, with IP66 rating. You can install these camera indoor or outdoor, under the rain. We do not use cheap plastic enclosures for our RH cameras, but only robust die-cast, fire painted, aluminum casing. You can use these cameras anywhere, without worrying about extreme temperature or corrosion. A few camera in this range come with Black Glass front covers which increase the efficiency of LEDs (about 8% more than normal glass) and reduce the attraction of insects at night.
The cameras in this range are all motorized and remote controllable. They can rotate horizontally at 360° (PAN) and vertically at 180° (TILT). During tilt moving, these camera support the AUTOFLIP FUNCTION to provide straight image even over 90° of rotation, beyond the vertical axis. The all-metal rotor mechanism ensures high precision in positioning. The fully metal pan-tilt mechanism grants precise positioning and high rotation speed up to 200°/sec.
All our speed dome cameras in this range can perform automatic moves. You can set 400 PRESET, to quickly re-call specific positions, 12 CRUISE, to monitor a sequence of several presets, and 6 PATTERNS, to record custom PTZ sessions. With the SCAN function you can monitor large areas by keeping the camera in constant rotation. You can automatically schedule these automatic functions on a time basis. You can also set a home automatic action, also called IDLE, that the camera performs automatically in the absence of operator commands.
The cameras in this range come with 7 alarm inputs for the connection of sensors, detectors, switches and other contacts that can generate automatic camera movements. This wide range of inputs makes these cameras perfect for automated industrial systems. The image on the right shows an example of an industrial application in the automotive fields, where an RH speed dome camera rotates automatically to follow the movement of the vehicles along the assembly line.
These cameras also have 2 alarm outputs for the connection of devices to be activated in the event of an alarm, such as sirens or light indicators. These alarm outputs are particularly useful in video analysis applications to warn of unusual situations.
These PTZ IP cameras have an RCA audio input and output for bidirectional communication to which you can connect a microphone and a speaker . When you connect to the camera remotely, with your computer or mobile phone, you can talk to the people in the area to provide instructions or warnings. It is a useful function in many applications where the real-time interaction with an operator is required.
PTZ cameras are all supplied with a wall mounting bracket which is included in the package. A steel safety wire is also included to be used during the installation and prevent dropping the camera. There are also several optional accessories that you can order separately. The ceiling mount bracket must be purchased if you wish to hang the camera. The pole collar and the corner base can be used for installation on non-flat surfaces.
BRACKETS
Every computer on the network is a perfect monitor for your IP cameras. No software needs to be installed. Just use your favourite browser and enter the login password. All browers are supported, thanks to the new no-plugin access function. You can WATCH live video, control PTZ, RECORD , take snapshots and ZOOM-IN by dragging the mouse. A user friendly menu, available in many languages, allows you to SET all system options. You can also PLAYBACK the videos which have been recorded in the camera memory, searching date and time over the timeline. The cameras in this range also support the RTSP protocol, which allows you to watch live video with ordinary players such as VLC.
CENTRORH - MONITORING SOFTWARE
Our free CentroRH software allows you to monitor your RH Series cameras from a computer. You can LIVE WATCH up to 64 cameras together and create GRAPHIC MAPS that help you manage large systems. You can CONFIGURE the internal options of all cameras and PLAY the videos recorded in the SD cards. CentroRH receives the ALARM EVENTS from the cameras and sends notifications via email. It is the ideal software to provide GUARDS of a powerfull Central Monitoring Stations. CentroRH software supports installation with a client-server structure to manage many monitoring stations.
RHC - NVR PROGRAM
For this RH range, there is also an NVR software. Our free RHC software is designed for PC video recording and can be useful as a main recording station, or alongside a traditional NVR.
The RH series cameras can be controlled from a smartphone or tablet with our free DSE Smartlive APP. You can WATCH the live video, CONTROL CAMERA PTZ and RECORD videos or CAPTURE snapshots. You can also PLAYBACK and DOWNLOAD the videos recorded in the camera memory. Please note that, being designed for high security systems, this range do not support P2P cloud server, like our residential products, and require static IP and port forwarding for remote control via the WEB.
The cameras of this RH series, like all our IP cameras, can be used with a network video recorder, also called NVR. You can use all NVR video recorders on the market supporting Onvif. If you are building a new system we recommend, for a perfect compatibility, our RK Series NVRs. Through the NVR you can control all the movements of your motorized cameras either locally, using the mouse, or via WEB with a PC or smartphone.
All cameras in this series have a built-in microSD card slot. You can insert a micro SD memory up to 128GB and record video clips straight in the camera. In the camera configuration you can define the period of the day you want to record. Once the memory card is full, the automatic overwriting of the oldest video files is usually set. The BUILT-IN MEMORY turns your IP camera into a stand-alone video surveillance system capable of recording even without a network video recorder. We recommend you still use the SD card, even if you have an NVR, because it record in every condition, even if the network is disconnected because of a failure or sabotage.
You can use a computer to monitor and record our IP cameras. You do not have to buy anything, just download our free VMS software suitable for all our IP cameras. You can install it on as many computers as you want and use it freely, either as a main video recorder, or as an additional control unit. There is also a more specific software, only for these RH Series cameras, which allows more control on all features: it is our free RHC software . In addition to monitoring, this software allows you to change the camera options and assign IP addresses during installation.

All cameras in this range allow you to record on an external NAS. A Network Attached Storage (NAS) is a network device that holds one or more hard drives. You can record your videos on a remote NAS just in case of alarm or continuously, on the base of a time scheduler. When the memory is full, the automatic overwriting of the oldest files is normally set. Recording on external HDD allows you to achieve high video storage capacity and store your video files on a common network resource, ready to be shared with other applications.
You can control our motorized IP cameras in many ways. You can connect with a computer and control the camera with the mouse. You can also control the camera from an NVR, with the mouse or via the web, with a PC or mobile phone. If you need a standalone control point with joystick, you can buy one of our PTZ IP keyboard . You can install several control units of different kind in the same network, such as PC, NVR and a keyboards, using the one you prefer, according to the situation.
The RH Series cameras are designed for high-tech applications where software interaction with other equipment is often required. We provide developers with free SDK libraries and APIs to control all functionalities of the cameras with their own software. Moreover, these cameras can be fully controlled via CGI commands (Common Gateway Interface) over HTTP protocol. The list of CGI commands is also available for free upon request.

These cameras can record on MicroSD card. The micro SD card is not included. You can buy in our price list a perfectly compatible micro SD card for your camera. All cameras come with a wall bracket, but if you need to mount them on a pole, ceiling or corner you have to order the proper mounting accessory separately
