The cameras in this range are network digital cameras, also called IP cameras. With these cameras you can create a fully digital video surveillance system over a LAN. Each camera has a network port and is identified by an IP address, just like computers or other network devices. You can monitor your cameras with your PC/Smartphone or you can purchase a network video recorder (NVR) to efficiently manage many cameras. These cameras are motorized (PTZ) and you can control rotation and zoom via PC, NVR or APP. If you understand Italian you can learn more on IP CCTV in our video tutorials.
The cameras in this range are fully motorized. These cameras are called PTZ because are able to rotate on both horizontal (PAN) and vertical (TILT) axes and come with a motor lens (ZOOM) with autofocus. There are several camera shapes in this range with different moving limits.

Some of these motorized POE cameras come with Artificial Intelligence and HUMAN DETECTION. Human detection is much better than normal motion detection because it does not simply trigger on the base of pixel modification, but only when the intruder is a person. Thanks to human detection, these cameras do not detect animals, or objects moved by the wind, but only real people. Human detection is reliable and you can use it even while the camera is moving. The human detection algorithm is based on the shape and movement of the body, so it is able to detect even intruder wearing masks. In case of detection you can send email,FTP and push notifications.
Some of these motorized POE cameras include another very useful function to combine with human detection: the autotracking. Thanks to autotracking, the motorized camera is able to automatically rotate and zoom following the path that the person takes within the supervised area. It is a very useful function that allows you to capture close-up videos and more accurate pictures in case of intrusion. The auto-tracking function can be activated and deactivated easily, even with a simple touch on your smartphone, and can be used even if the camera is constantly moving.
Some of these cameras are equipped with a built-in waterproof microphone and speaker. You can listen-in clearly from PC, APP or NVR and also speak to the people in front of the camera. It is a very convenient function if you use these cameraa to monitor an access. You can detect the presence of a person, with the human detection, follow your target with the autotracking and speak with the two-way dialogue. The loudspeaker can also play prerecorded messages when an intruder is detected.
To be able to record even in total absence of light these PTZ cameras are equipped with infrared LEDs that provide invisible long range night illumination. Thanks to the Smart IR technology, the LED power adapts to the distance of the subject avoiding overexposure in close-ups. Depending on the models, the cameras in this range are fitted with High Performance Superflux LEDs that provide a high illuminating power while maintaining a relatively low power consumption. In the bullet versions we use special laser IR illuminators to provide extra long range with minimum size. All LEDs turn on automatically below 10 lux. In night mode the camera records in Black White thanks to a mechanical removal mechanism of the IR filter (ICR). If you want, you can set the camera to work only in color mode, excluding the infrared night function.
These PTZ cameras are equipped with a motor zoom lens that you can control remotely. You will find in this range several types of zoom from 4x to 36x optical magnification. These lenses come with autofocus to automatically focus on subjects at any distance. Pay close attention if you find on the web speed dome cameras with power zoom at low price, because many low profile manufacturers use to overlay false magnification values, higher then the real optical zoom of the camera.
These motorized IP cameras support POE + (IEEE802.3at) power supply and can be installed with just one network cable without a separate power supply. This is a feature you will find hardly in other motorized cameras, that require very often a separate power supply adapter. To power these cameras over the network cable you need a switch, or an injector, that supports the POE + (IEEE802.3at) standard, like our POE switches. Our switches can provide up to 30W per port, while ordinary switches that only support ordinary POE (IEEE802.3af) are limited to 15W per port and are not suitable for these cameras. The POE power supply is a great convenience because it allows you to connect the camera with a single network cable that conducts video, audio, power and controls.
All these cameras are waterproof, with IP66 rating. You can install these camera indoor or outdoor, under the rain. We do not use cheap plastic enclosures for our RL cameras, but only robust die-cast, fire painted, aluminum casing. That's why you can use these cameras anywhere, without worrying about extreme temperature or corrosion. All the cameras in this range come with Black Glass front covers which increase the efficiency of LEDs (about 8% more than normal glass) and reduce the attraction of insects at night.
Like all our speed dome cameras, these POE PTZ cameras can perform automatic moves. You can set 220 CUSTOM PRESETS to quickly recall specific positions, and 3 TOURS, also called CRUISE, to monitor a sequence of several presets. Presets and tours can be easily recalled via NVR, PC or APP. You can also set the HOME position to be recalled automatically in case of no user commands.
The motorized IP cameras of this series provide the best video quality in relation to your budget. You can choose between 2MP and 5MP resolution. The 2MP resolution, also called 1080P or Full HD (1920x1080 pixels), is the current standard of a high resolution digital TV and meets the needs of most security systems. If you can afford a slightly higher budget, have a look at our 5MP cameras which provide more details while zooming-in. When designing your system you can mix cameras with different resolutions based on the importance of the monitored area. Here, on the side, you can watch a few short demo clips in the most common resolutions.
You can buy your IP products from us with confidence. All products in this range are supporting Onvif and RTSP protocols. You can match our products with any other device sharing these standards.
Our IP motorized cameras support H264 H265 video compression, including the latest upgrades, in order to combine high quality video stream and low bandwidth consumption. These cameras can manage 2 VIDEO STREAMS with different compressions and resolutions, that you can choose from the client device. Choose the well-established H264 format for maximum compatibility with all NVRs, or use the latest H265 to increase the video storage capacity and minimize the bandwidth. Here on the side you can download two similar clips in H264 and H265 format: please note the different file size.
These mini IP WiFi speed dome cameras have many advanced settings. With the browser you can adjust them to your liking in order to adapt the camera to your needs. You can adjust the image and rotate it, with the MIRROR functions, in order to suit the area to be monitored. The WIDE DYNAMIC RANGE (WDR) function is useful if you shoot bright areas together with darker areas. With the BLC you can enhance dark subject on a bright background. The AGC and DIGITAL NOISE REDUCTION functions allow you to improve recording in difficult conditions with poor visibility.
Every computer on the network is a perfect monitor for your IP cameras. No software needs to be installed. Just use your favourite browser and enter the login password. All browers are supported, thanks to the new no-plugin access function. You can WATCH live video, control PTZ, RECORD , take snapshots and ZOOM-IN by dragging the mouse. A user friendly menu, available in many languages, allows you to SET all system options. You can also PLAYBACK the videos which have been recorded in the camera memory, searching date and time over the timeline. The cameras in this range also support the RTSP protocol, which allows you to watch live video with ordinary players such as VLC.
IOVEDO.RK - MONITORING SOFTWARE
Our free IoVedo.RK software allows you to monitor via computer all our RK Series cameras, NVRs, DVRs and kits. You can use our software in your local network, by calling the IP of the device, or via the Internet, by entering the serial number supported by our CLOUD P2P SERVER.
You can WATCH LIVE up to 64 cameras, setting CUSTOM LAYOUTS to receive videos from many remote devices. You can PLAYBACK the footage recorded in the device memory and DOWNLOAD the video files. You can also control your PTZ cameras.
Like all our systems, the IoVedo.RK software supports the ONVIF protocol, so you can also use it to monitor ANY OTHER ONVIF CAMERAS you already have in your system.
With our free APP IoVedo.RK, for Android and iOS, you can control your IP cameras with a mobile phone or tablet. You can use the app within your Wi-Fi network, calling the IP address of the camera, or via the Internet, calling the camera CLOUD ID. You can WATCH up to 16 cameras on the screen. You can RECORD , take snapshots and ZOOM IN with the classic two-finger gesture. You can also PLAYBACK the videos which have been recorded in the camera memory, searching date and time over the timeline. If you enable motion detection, you can receive NOTIFICATION on your mobile phone at every event.
With your smartphone and your computer you can control your cameras easily over the Internet. Each camera has an ID number and is registered on our P2P cloud server with unlimited access. Thanks to the PEER-TO-PEER (P2P) technology, you can connect via the Internet in seconds, even if your Internet connection does not have static IP address. No special router settings, such as port forwarding, are required. The P2P cloud server allows you to use these cameras even with mobile or satellite Internet connection that usually do not accept direct link.
With these devices you can save images on Google Cloud. Saving on the web is useful for keeping important images safe from tampering attempts. To use the cloud strage you need to buy a space on Google Cloud and enter the access details in the device configuration. You can save on Google Cloud all images recorded in the event of an alarm, not continuous recording.

To setup your camera you have to modify the default IP address to make it suitable for your own network. You can do that in a matter of seconds with our free IPTool.RK software which is suitable for all RK series IP cameras, DVR and NVR. IPTool.RK detects and displays all the IP cameras connected to your network and allows you to edit the IP setting in just a few clicks.

These cameras are designed to be used with a network video recorder, also called NVR. You can use all NVR video recorders that support the Onvif protocol. If you are building a new system we recommend, for a perfect compatibility, our RK Series NVRs. Through the NVR you can control all the movements of your motorized cameras either locally, using the mouse, or via WEB with a PC or smartphone.
Many cameras in this series have a built-in micro SD card slot. You can insert a micro SD memory up to 512GB and record video clips straight in the camera. In the camera configuration you can define mode and period of the day for recording. You can also take time-lapse pictures (every xx seconds, hours, days). Once the memory card is full, the automatic overwriting of the oldest video files is usually set. Even if you have an NVR, we recommend you still insert the SD card, because it record in every condition, even if the network is disconnected because of a failure or sabotage.
If you want to video record the IP cameras of your network on a computer, you can download our free VMS software that supports all our IP cameras and also Onvif IP cameras from other manufacturers. You can install it on as many computers as you want and use it freely, both as a main videorecorder and as an additional control station. VMS can manage many devices on your local network showing up to 64 cameras on screen, in multiple custom layouts.

If you are a software developer you can easily implement our devices in your projects. We provide you free SDK libraries and CGI commands to control all functionalities of our devices with your own software. If you need to get clean video stream for your software you can do that via RTSP protocol.

You can control the movements of our motorized IP cameras in many ways. You can connect to the camera with your computer and move the camera with the mouse or via app. You can also control the camera via the NVR, locally with the mouse or via the web with a PC or mobile phone. If you want to create a standalone control point with joystick, you can purchase one of our PTZ IP keyboard . You can use more than one control unit in the same the network, such as PC, NVR or a keyboard, using the one which is more conveniently, according to the situation.
Speed dome, mini speed dome and bullet PTZ cameras are supplied with a wall mounting bracket. There are also several mounting accessories that you can buy separately. The ceiling mount bracket must be purchased if you wish to hang the camera. The pole collar, with steel clamps and the corner mounting base are available for the big speed dome only but can be adapted for small cameras by drilling the base. Micro Speed Dome cameras are screwed straight to the ceiling.
