General description
These volumetric sensors are used to detect the intrusion of people in an environment and to open an alarm contact. They are used in conjunction with DVR video recorders or burglar alarm systems.
AN-RMP1
- PIR DETECTOR
This intruder detector is based on a double element PIR (passive infrared) that detects the temperature
of the environment through a ray of infrared beams.
If a person enter
the room, this sensor detects some temperature change between the beams, and
activate the alarm output for 2 seconds.
This device must be powered at 12VDC and can be connected to DVR for video
surveillance or to burglar alarm systems in order to generate alarms.
The detection area covers 90° in front of the sensor up to a maximum distance of 12 meters.
AN-RMP1 includes the pet-immunity function thanks to which it is able to accept the presence of pets up to 25 kg without generating alarms.
Pulse-count feature is also include to make the detection very prompt or
delayed for higher false alarm immunity.
