When you order an NVR/DVR and a hard drive, they are delivered separately and require a quick setup. While installation is straightforward—mounting the drive, connecting the cables, and formatting it through the system menu—it still takes a bit of time. Want a hassle-free experience? Add our hard drive installation service. For a small additional fee, you’ll receive your DVR/NVR with the hard disk installed and fully formatted—ready to start recording right out of the box.

If you order an IP camera system with a switch and NVR, you will need to configure the cameras’ IP addresses using a computer and then add them to the NVR. It’s not difficult—especially if you follow our tutorials and manuals—but it does require some familiarity with IT technologies. If you’re concerned about potential difficulties, or simply want to save time, you can choose this system pre-configuration service. For a small additional cost, you will receive the cameras already configured with IP addresses suitable for your network and added to the NVR. This way, even if you are using switches, you’ll have a fully Plug & Play CCTV system, ready to use right out of the box.
