These cameras come with a pin-hole lens ideal for covert surveillance.
The mini pin-hole lens supplied as standard is a wide angle 3.6 mm
conic lens, but
any DSE pin-hole lens can be used with these cameras. In the lens page there
are several pin-hole lenses with different focal length.

Analog HD - AHD
technology is the latest development in the analog CCTV industry and is
supported by almost all models in this range.
Launched in May 2014 by Nextchip,
worldwide leader in DSP for CCTV cameras, AHD technology brings analog
cameras up to 1MP (HD720P 1280x720), 2MP (FULL HD 1080P 1920x1080),
3MP (2048x1536) e 4MP (2560x1440) video resolution. Before AHD, megapixel resolution was only
possible using digital cameras.
Connected to latest generation
these cameras provide megapixel resolution, with no latency, still being low
cost and easy to install as standard analog cameras.

4 in 1 cameras
AHD, there are other high definition analog standards available on the
market. The most popular are TVI and CVI.
In order to provide the maximum
compatibility with all DVR, many of these cameras are able to
support different standards.
So called, 4 in 1 cameras, support all
high definition formats: AHD, CVI, TVI as well as traditional CVBS video.
These cameras are virtually compatible to every DVR you may have. In 4 in 1
cameras you can select the video format by the OSD switch which is placed
along the camera cable.
Unlike most other vendors, we use original 4 in 1 chip from Nextchip
instead of low cost Chinese imitations that provides much lower video quality.
Suitable for CVBS traditional analog systems
All cameras in this range are able to produce a composite video output
(CVBS) suitable to any old D1/960H DVR or any TV set.
In CVBS mode, our AHD cameras provide
lower resolution, but still comparable to the best 1000 TVL analog cameras.
One of the most critical factors which is making the difference
among the cameras is the image sensor.
CCD sensors have been for years the primary choice for CCTV cameras in
consequence of their superior pixel sensitivity. In recent times, CMOS technology
took over, being more suitable to high megapixel resolution.
SONY EXMOR CMOS sensors for
Sony Exmor is the most expansive sensor on the market but
provides superior performance especially in critical light conditions.
The price of a CCTV camera with Sony Exmor sensor could be even twice the
price of a similar camera with lower profile sensor. Keep this in mind
while comparing this range with cheaper alternative solutions.
High sensitivity in low light
Hidden cameras are not suitable for infrared illuminators because
this kind of equipment is too difficult to hide. This is why these cameras
come with very high low light sensitivity down to 0.005 lux.
The pin-hole lens
All these cameras come with a special type of lens for concealed use called
"pin-hole lens. This type of lens is able to film through a 1 mm hole, and is
therefore perfect to make cameras which are completely invisible even on

small-medium area. In all models, except RE-TCC3SN, the lens can be replaced
with any of the other DSE pin-hole lenses.
Our pin-hole range includes models with 6.2 mm focal length, best for middle
range view, with and without hiding elements (screw, button).
All CVBS mini cams have a built-in high sensitivity microphone for
The high resolution AHD
models, come without microphone. In this case, if audio is
required, an additional microphones like
RE-CM2, can be used.
All cameras come with a mini mounting bracket than can be used
for installing the camera by screws. In case it is not required by your
application, this bracket can be easily removed.
Like all analog cameras, these cameras can be
connected by wires to a video-recorder (DVR).
A 50 cm. cable with DC Plug and BNC female video connector, comes out from
the back side of the camera.
A 220VAC/12VDC power adaptor can be connected to
the DC plug to power up the camera. Min 1000mA, fully
regulated, power adaptor is required. Should you prefer to provide the power from a central point you can order a
power supply unit in metal casing.
Video signal must be hard-wired to DVR using RG59 or RG179 coaxial cable
(see cables). Coaxial cable must be terminated
with BNC connectors. Alternatively, the video signal can
also be wired using a twisted pair installing on both ends two
AHD cameras connects exactly as all other analog cameras, but provide HD
resolution only with AHD DVR.
4 in1 camera can be connected also
to CVI and TVI DVR.
